Priorities of the method

Join Alex and Suzie as they lead your child into the world of English through games, comics, rhymes, and crazy, on-the-move language activities! This 2nd grade book teaches not only useful vocabulary, but also how to form complete sentences and how to read in English, introducing students to the fun of language learning. The content aligns with the core curriculum for grades 1-3, and even goes beyond it in areas of communication and listening comprehension.

At this level, Alex and Suzie meet fun new characters and explore new areas of language. More grammar helps students to interact in a variety of situations. They deepen their understanding of the core curriculum and build linguistic confidence through texts, recordings, and exercises. The credit system tracks their achievements and motivates them to continue learning, while our natural approach to language acquisition and activities means that children are able to overcome language barriers.

Building on the knowledge they have gained, fourth-grade students continue to work with the  now-familiar characters, Suzie and Alex, and expand their vocabulary, grammar, and range of expressions. They tackle more complex texts, recordings, and communicative situations. Regular revision ensures that their knowledge grows into solid skills. Thanks to the method’s unique approach, filled with humour, movement and reflection, students complete this level highly motivated and with a strong foundation in English.
