Why the Bearton Twins?

The Bearton Twins method uses the best teaching practices and is designed for primary school children who are starting their English learning journey. While the focus is on communication, the method ensures the balanced development of all the language skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening.

What makes the Bearton Twins different?

The Bearton Twins method stands out thanks to carefully designed materials for both students and teachers which mean that lessons are both appealing and high quality. The content structure and revision system ensure effective learning, making it easier for children to keep up with their schoolwork, as each level is aligned with the core curriculum.

Relatable characters and contexts enhance students’ motivation to learn. The use of games, the TPR (Total Physical Response) method, and authentic recordings further enrich the lessons. The Bearton Twins method provides a solid foundation for practical language use.

Reviews

Dad of 8-year-old Natalia

Parent

Natalia is happy with the classes and enjoys them very much. Most of all ‘Memory’. The Bear App also works nicely as a supplement to the regular lessons.

Mum of 8-year-old Iga

Parent

The method is well thought out. The topics match what is taught at school, but there’s always different vocabulary and full phrases, which makes learning easier. What my daughter likes most is the relaxed format of the small-group classes and all the revision of material.

Szymon, aged 8

Student

I like the colourful books, especially the crossing out exercises.

Hania, aged 8

Student

I like the fact that if we go somewhere in another country and go to a restaurant, we will be able to read the menu because we can speak English.

Mum of 9-year-old Antoś

My son has improved his grades at school and is eager to attend classes. I particularly appreciate the opportunity to use the educational app to supplement his learning. I can see that the classes are not only effective but also engaging. My son is always excited to talk about the interesting games and activities he takes part in.

Karol, aged 9

Student

I like the colourful books and the stamps for progress the most. Now I know I will be able to say something in English on holiday.

The Bear App

Students are given access to the Bear App, an educational app which provides an enjoyable, modern way for children to do their homework. It helps them reinforce and consolidate the material they have learned in class. The app also allows students to replay recordings from the lessons, which means they can keep practising and listening to the English language.

The Bear App is not just an additional feature but an essential and carefully designed part of the course. Regular use of the app enhances the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the lessons. It gives learners the opportunity to fully develop their communicative competence, helping them achieve greater confidence and fluency in language use.

We teach effectively

From the very beginning, we focus on learning complete sentences and using them in real-life communication. Language is a tool for interaction, and we approach it with that purpose from day one.

We care about development and emotions

Alongside teaching English, we focus on helping children become self-aware learners. They will learn to evaluate their progress, recognise their strengths, and identify areas for improvement. We teach them to be proud of their achievements, and show them that that learning is not only effective but also cool!

Modernity and relationships

We use modern technology to make homework assignments more appealing and provide more exposure to native accents. However, in the classroom, we prioritise face-to-face interaction – with the teacher, in pairs, and in groups. Through creative activities, we laugh, we use our imagination, and we solve problems together.

Our values

We believe every child deserves a high quality language education. Learning English, which is crucial in today’s world, should be enjoyable and foster a sense of success. It should also be effective in practical communication. But that’s not everything: for us, a good lesson is one that not only teaches the language but also nurtures a child’s curiosity and self-esteem.
